Carbon Cloth Gas Diffusion Layers (GDLs) are designed to meet the various requirements in Hydrogen (PEMFC) and Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC). These Gas Diffusion Layers are manufactured by proprietary woven technology and consistently perform well in fuel cell efficiency tests. Our second-generation carbon support has been meticulously developed to offer even better performance and characteristics.
Cetech have two options of carbon cloth for customer's selection.
**W1S1011 is a carbon cloth with a Microporous Layer (MPL) and with thickness 0.41mm.
**W0S1011 is a carbon cloth without a Microporous Layer (MPL) and with 0.36mm in thickness.
It is a low-cost woven carbon cloth for Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) materials.
Advantages of CT Carbon Cloth:
A gas diffused pathway from flow channels to the catalyst layer.
Help removing by-produced water outside of the catalyst layer and prevent flooding.
Keep some water on surface for conductivity through the membrane.
Heat transfer during cell operation.
Provide enough mechanical strength to hold MEA from extension caused by water absorbance.
