Vanadium Redox-flow Batteries (VRB) have recently become commercially available. Many European countries, as well as the US, Canada, Australia and Japan have been working on this technology for decades. Based on its established technology, CeTech is able to provide porous structure graphite electrodes (Graphite felt). The graphite felt is highly stable in sulfuric acid electrolytes. CeTech has received a great deal of positive feedback from customers who visited us at the 2011 Hannover Messe. In the exhibition, which ran from April 6th to April 10 th, exhibitors from several European countries, such as Germany, Italy, and Sweden, showcased their fuel cell products and electrolyzers with CeTech’s latest GDLs. We also presented our latest graphite electrodes, commonly known as “graphite felt”, for Vanadium Redox-flow Batteries (VRB). With high oil prices and strong demand for alternative energy, like wind energy and solar energy, VRB is gaining popularity over other battery technologies.

We are delighted to announce that we have launched our new GDL in July.

The New GDLs are perfectly suitable for continuos MEA production methodology, GDL240 with thickness 240 micron is designed for a group of customer who desire to reduce their stack size, and GDL370 with thickness 370 micron is designed for stationary application and automobile companies. Both two GDLs are in roll to roll base format.

The 16^th Group Exhibit Hyrdogen + Fuel Cells in Hannover during April 19-23

Due to the Iceland volcano eruption leading to the air traffic chaos, we couldn't manage to get ourself on flight.

Even though we tried very hard to be there for at least one or two days but as no any positive news of european air traffic resuming till April. 21, Therefore it not desirable but essential to give up this time. In addition to that we feel so sorry to our arranged customers that we couldn't catch them as agreed, fortunately Hannover messe 2010 was also taking place as schedule.
